A website for anyone curious about their mac

I ran accross a website that allows you to look up your Mac by serial number. It will show you all the specifices about your machine, as well as give you a place to check / report a stolen machine. In this economy, and the current proliferation of notebooks (and notebook theft) this might be a good place to back yourself up and save your SN info.

Your own personal chickenscratch font.

I generaly try to stick with mac tech, but this was to cool to pass up. Found over at lifehacker (and I have to admit I’d played with it prior but lost the link). Fontcapture takes a printout, and you fill in your own handwriting. Then it processes the template into a font you can use on your own machine. Need a signature? here is a way. Need to write a “personal” note and have it look more personal? might be worth taking a look.

If you guys are anything like I am, you try to keep up with the goings on  in the tech world, and with any luck at all, stay entertained.

In my younger PC years I came accross TechTV when I had satelite, and got to see the guys on Call for Help, and The Screensavers. After TechTVs demise, and the release of Leo, Patrick, Kevin and the like I came accross TWIT.tv.
